Sanorfizah moved to neurological ward - Updates

JOHOR BARU: Doctors at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here have moved 31-year-old snatch theft victim Sanorfizah Saleh, who has been in a coma for more than two weeks, to the neurological ward.
Her husband Azahar Md Ali said the doctors moved Sanorfizah to the unit on Friday to enable them to monitor her condition closely.
Azahar said his wife was still in a coma and was breathing through a respirator.
“My wife was moved out of the neurological high dependency unit on Friday night but she still has not regained consciousness.
“I was told by the doctors that if she does not do so within the next six months, she may become a 'vegetable',” he said.
On Oct 20, Sanorfizah was riding a motorcycle to Pasir Gudang from her home in Kampung Cahaya Baru in Masai to collect goods from a direct-selling stockist there when two snatch thieves on a motorcycle struck along Jalan Pesiaran in Taman Cendana.
One of the thieves kicked her motorcycle, causing her to fall and hit her head on the road. She has been in a coma since then.
